Find a “Computer on Wheels” with the digital signing pad. Before leaving the room with the computer, open iMedConsent (see below) and first ensure you can actually get it up and running. You don’t want to be at the bedside with a computer that cannot open the forms…
Tools (in toolbar at the top) > iMedConsent > Make sure you have an established link (very top left, there should be one single blue avatar person, no red one) > iMedConsent window opens.
All Documents (on the left) > Shared (on the menu that pops up to the right) > Administrative > a large collection of consents appear to the right:
“Physician Certification and Patient Consent for Transfer”: For patients that have to be transferred out, such as to JCMC for procedure. The risks are: motor vehicle accident, Destabilized medical condition, etc.
All Documents (on the left) > Shared (on the menu that pops up to the right) > Consents – Basic (below Administrative) > Blood Transfusion.
