Internal Medicine Opportunities at Rutherford Regional Health System with Duke LifePoint Healthcare: Rutherford Regional Health System, www.myrutherfordregional.com is located in Rutherford County, NC, ½ between Charlotte and Asheville at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
RRHS is licensed for 143 private, acute-care beds and a four-time recipient of the Thompson Reuters Top 100 Performance Improvement Leader designation. RRHS was also recognized as one of America’s Top 100 Community Hospitals by Becker’s Hospital Review, for the fourth consecutive year.
This Internal Medicine Practice opening is a growth opportunity for a provider has retired. The Practice has an established patient population! The Physician is employed by Rutherford Physician Practices. The close proximity to major cities has definitely been an asset for this practice. Office hours are 8AM – 5PM Monday – Friday. The practice is electronically networked to the central billing office at RRHS.
The ideal candidate will be board certified or eligible M.D. or D.O. No J1 Visa candidates. The physician would be able to build a very successful practice in a very short timeframe. Rutherfordton, NC. is a very scenic area with abundant outdoor activities year round, excellent public and private schools. Duke LifePoint offers a wealth of resources in every aspect of hospital operations such as medical and financial resources. Patients don’t have to live in a large city to benefit from the best that medicine has to offer
Compensation includes an attractive annual guarantee base salary of $225,000 or more depending on qualifications plus Incentives based on wRVU’s. The Physician will qualify for quarterly bonus upon treating 22-25 patients per day.
Signing bonus of $10K,
Relocation allowance of $7K
Student Loan assistance and Residency stipend if still in residency.
A CME allowance of $2,500 annually.
Loan Repayment is available via hospital loan assistance and the NC Medical Society Foundation.
RRHS covers malpractice insurance and professional business expenses.
